Windows Vista Starter
this edition will be limited to emerging markets such as India, Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, and Indonesia, mainly to offer a legal alternative to using unauthorized copies. It will not be available in the United States or Europe. It will have many significant limitations, such as only allowing a user to launch three applications with a user interface at once, not accepting incoming network connections, a physical memory limit of 2 GB, and will run only in 32-bit mode. Additionally, only Celeron and Pentium III processors from Intel, and AMD’s Duron, Sempron and Geode processors are supported.

Windows Vista Home Basic
Similar to Windows XP Home Edition, Home Basic is intended for budget users not requiring advanced media support for home use. The Windows Aero theme with translucent effects will not be included with this edition. Home Basic will support up to 8 GB of physical memory.

Windows Vista Home Basic
Similar to Windows XP Home Edition, Home Basic is intended for budget users not requiring advanced media support for home use. The Windows Aero theme with translucent effects will not be included with this edition. Home Basic will support up to 8 GB of physical memory.

Windows Vista Home Premium
Containing all features from Home Basic, this edition will additionally support more advanced features aimed for the home market segment, such as HDTV support and DVD authoring. Extra games, mobile and tablet computer support, file system encryption, and a photo management application are also included. This edition is comparable to Windows XP Media Center Edition and Tablet PC Edition. Home Premium will support up to 16 GB of physical memory.

Windows Vista Business
Comparable to Windows XP Professional, and aimed at the business market. Does not include the Media Center features of Home Premium, but does include the IIS web server, fax support, offline files, dual physical processor support, Remote Desktop, ad-hoc P2P collaboration capabilities, and support for 128 GB of memory. Product activation is not present in this edition.

Windows Vista Enterprise
This edition is aimed at the enterprise segment of the market, and is a superset of the Business edition. Additional features include a single-session version of Virtual PC, multilingual user interface support, BitLocker Drive Encryption, and UNIX application support. This edition will not be available through retail or OEM channels, but through Microsoft Software Assurance.

Windows Vista Ultimate
This edition combines all the features of Home Premium and Enterprise editions, and additionally comes with podcast creation support, a game performance tweaker (WinSAT), DVD ripping capabilities, and special online services for downloadable media, as well as additional customer service options. The Ultimate edition is aimed to be the most impressive edition of Vista, aimed at high-end PC users, gamers, multimedia professionals, and PC enthusiasts.

I would not be much hopeful on the stability of Vista when it is finally released, knowing Microsoft’s reputation for its OS’es in the past. I just hope that they deliver their promise on improved security features that Vista will provide.

They called it the future phone maybe on its unique style, it so thin, flexible, you can wear it around your wrist, clip, bend, roll em up or stay at ease in a normal flat shape. Its at a concept stage for now, and seems to be more fashionable item for the teens.

The designer of this phone is Chinese that is why given a name of “888″ means lucky number.

Seems pretty cool!

Its almost 6 months already been here in Oman. I should say on my 1st time I arrived here is difficult. There are things you need to considered:

The place where you will live.
Yes, first thing you will thing comes on your mind is where would be your accommodation? You cant sleep at the street of course. The company provided you a cash advance so you could look for place to live in. Here in Oman mostly its not applicable to have a signage “HOUSE/ROOM FOR RENT”. If you know somebody to share much better, but, here we do have lots of Filipino community will help you to look for. Mostly of the Filipinos here were kind bcoz the pinoys here steel few you will see majority here were Indians and Pakistani. The range of the house here is 100-200 rials depending of there size, location and numbers of rooms.

Expenses you needed.
Now after paying , giving advanced for the house/ room. Its now to buy things needed like food to eat, bed for you to sleep well, a aircon and etc. Were lucky here we have a store that we can buy things in deferred. Its located at the souk. Souk means a market or palengke. The souk here is like Ongpin in the Philippines you will see varieties of stores like appliances, barbershops, fresh goods, live animals, jewels and etc. at very affordable price.

Change of weather .
If you feel the Philippines were hot make it twice here in Oman. You cannot resist the hot weather here. For 6 months Ive stayed here Ive never experience a rain or a small drop of rain. During the time of 11am to 4pm the temperature is very hot. You will notice a few cars and people passing the road. Most of the establishment were also close and it will resume at 4pm t011pm.The first 3 months is quite critical once you surpass it .

Im sure everything become smooth and normal. Hope this help you guy.

There are lots of food that we served to us, there are breads, fruits, juices and one that caught up my attention is the Denggoo / Denggu what ever the spelling!

Denggoo/ Denggu served on a big plate/ tray

contain a big lumpia wraps around 5-8 layers of it

sweet corn on the top over the lumpia wraps

a sort of corn syrup that make the denggu more delicious

Using our bare hand to eat the denggu/ denggoo. It worth trying.

After the vacation and ever since Ive arrived in Oman were search for a new house… I should say the search is over. The new house is compose of 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 living room and stock room. I has also a 2 terrace in living room and in the masters room. The nicest things about the house is the location it is near the main road and near in stores and other business establishment thou the rent is quite expensive.

Thanks God!
