They called it the future phone maybe on its unique style, it so thin, flexible, you can wear it around your wrist, clip, bend, roll em up or stay at ease in a normal flat shape. Its at a concept stage for now, and seems to be more fashionable item for the teens.

The designer of this phone is Chinese that is why given a name of “888″ means lucky number.

Seems pretty cool!

Its almost 6 months already been here in Oman. I should say on my 1st time I arrived here is difficult. There are things you need to considered:

The place where you will live.
Yes, first thing you will thing comes on your mind is where would be your accommodation? You cant sleep at the street of course. The company provided you a cash advance so you could look for place to live in. Here in Oman mostly its not applicable to have a signage “HOUSE/ROOM FOR RENT”. If you know somebody to share much better, but, here we do have lots of Filipino community will help you to look for. Mostly of the Filipinos here were kind bcoz the pinoys here steel few you will see majority here were Indians and Pakistani. The range of the house here is 100-200 rials depending of there size, location and numbers of rooms.

Expenses you needed.
Now after paying , giving advanced for the house/ room. Its now to buy things needed like food to eat, bed for you to sleep well, a aircon and etc. Were lucky here we have a store that we can buy things in deferred. Its located at the souk. Souk means a market or palengke. The souk here is like Ongpin in the Philippines you will see varieties of stores like appliances, barbershops, fresh goods, live animals, jewels and etc. at very affordable price.

Change of weather .
If you feel the Philippines were hot make it twice here in Oman. You cannot resist the hot weather here. For 6 months Ive stayed here Ive never experience a rain or a small drop of rain. During the time of 11am to 4pm the temperature is very hot. You will notice a few cars and people passing the road. Most of the establishment were also close and it will resume at 4pm t011pm.The first 3 months is quite critical once you surpass it .

Im sure everything become smooth and normal. Hope this help you guy.

Thanks God for a very nice and safety trip. The things were not easy for me and also to my fellow 3 colleagues. Around 4pm in the Philippines were already on NAIA fora short briefing with our agency. I quite worried and nervous coz its my first time to ride an airplane . After the orientation and giving all our necessary documents like passport, plane ticket and etc. we go for check in of baggage and checking our documents.

We ride a Thai Airways, the plane and the service are really nice the steward crews are very accommodation and the foods are really good. The only problem we encountered is that are flight schedule of going to Oman is waiting time is too long. After 4 hours of trip going to Thailand, we need to wait almost 1 day for the connecting flight going to Muscat, Oman.

As we wait for our connecting flight, us we rove around the whole airport of Thai Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. I was pretty amaze of looks of that airport. Its very big, well facilitate and the wireless internet connections is so good.

2 thumbs up for Thailand!

After work in the office I go straight for the interview venue. Its still every to got there I just took my breakfast near the venue. After a minute of breakfast I pray before I went to the venue.

Despite of lack of sleep and heavy work load before my interview. The must go on!

The interview located at Imperial Hotel at Quezon City and the call time is 7:30 in the morning, I came the venue room and as I observe there already some of the applicant were waiting for the interview. At first, I observe, look and listen. Most of the applicant were masteral and Phd. holder to cut the story short. The panel interviewer just in the other room and preparing for the interview. Most of us were nervous and I tell my self Ill gonna give my best shot ever for this interview.

After a long time of waiting for my turn I’m on the hot seat. The interviewer(most them are Arabs) seems nice and relax opposite of the stories of the previous applicants so I must self calm down and got relax too.

The 1st question is “tell me something about your self?” hehehhhehe! what a common question. The most of the question were generally about my family backgound, written on my resume and the hardest is the technical situational skills.

The interview took a long of 20 to 3o minutes. and guess what?! (drumrolls) I was qualified and chosen one. The company give me immediate the offersheet and I was surprise about it.

Thank you for all the prayers and my prayers granted.

I’m doing some research for interview tips and asking some of my friends/ office mate who’d work before in abroad especially in Middle East area. The agency give me a hint its panel interview and most them are from the Ministry of Manpower, Deans of Colleges and Department Head who’ll conduct the interview.

Wish me luck, pray for me and help me God!
